We are now inviting grant applications for projects planned to mature in 2018
To apply for a grant, please fill out the form on the left and press submit. Grant applications are accepted throughout the year and you can expect to receive a response from the Trustees, following assessment of your application, within one calendar month.
Examples of potentially qualifying projects are: contribution to artists and organisers' fees & expenses for live performance; creation of new performing material (unpublished scores, parts, texts and the like); preparation and marketing of new recorded material (CDs, DVDs, web-based material and the like); protection of copyright. By "qualifying project" is meant a proposal which is likely to be considered for financial support by the trustees.
The Trust does not normally assist undergraduates or students still studying for musical qualifications; neither will it normally assist established artists such as those who already appear frequently at principal musical venues, who broadcast regularly or who have made many recordings. It will not provide funds for travel (other than that directly associated with its qualifying projects) or for overseas study and will not normally support performances or recordings taking place outside the UK; nor will it contribute to the purchase or hardware (instruments, published music scores, recording or music reproduction equipment, computers and the like). Only exceptionally will the trustees consider applications for financial support (other than payments for services) from amateur music clubs and societies or professional concert-promotion organisations.
